Psalms for the individual or the group?
Singing the psalm as an individual like this singer....

has a different feel from if the psalm is a community song.

Unity as people gather can come from sharing the same songs, sentiment and understanding. The challenge of writing songs from the psalms that can be sung by a group of believers who have a variety of singing abilities as been explored by various music directors. Here is one example from Seedbed. Like in the Psalms in this Psalter, musical alternatives are suggested. If we were told that most of the psalms were meant for community singing, how would it affect how you talk to God as a group?
